Ok guysss, so I went to mount baw baw yesterrdayyyyy!

Posted a reel in instagram and Facebook.

Still have some leftovers photos of the retarded me and videos I wanna keep in record so I’ve decided to post them here 🫣

Woke up in the morning around 7am, did my laundry and get myself readyyy.

We started driving around 9:40am and reached there around 11am I think.

Toileting and Equipment hiring took us a while before we get to dive into the snow 🤭

Sandy and I decided to purchase a pass to go to the top of the hill and skull down, it was a good experience! But it’s my first time as well so I didn’t really manage to hold and ski stick and use my phone to record it ( I just don’t want to put my phone at risk 🙈)

This is just me trying to take a decent photo of myself but doesn’t look like it with the helmet on… 🥹🥲

Here am I at the top of the hill with the nice view! There’s this random guy who is very good at snowboarding! (把脸遮完最帅🤣）

Sandy is getting very good at this after a few practices! But here’s a video of her crash landing because I already posted her good ones in the reel 🤣

This is how we get to the top of the hill. Tbh it’s quiet cool because something is pulling you up so you don’t have to climb up with the heavy shoes and skis hehehe!

Watch me fall in this video! I was trying to look good in front of the camera but I guess I failed 😣 well, at least I’ve tried hahah! The phrase I’ve heard the most for the day is “are you okay?” . I’m glad to know that there’s still people who cares for others in this sort of cold-hearted world 😭🙆🏻‍♀️🤍

There goes Sandy rescuing me hehehe! Sandy to the rescueeee! 🤭🤍 But FYI it is super difficult to get up after you fall because the ski boots are so heavy and the ski is super long that you need to put extra effort just to lift you legs!

Overall it’s a very fruitful experience! Although Sandy almost lost her phone while skiing because she forgot to zip her pocket but luckily these are all kind people we met here and one of them returned it to the customer service centre. And on the way home we almost got lost because there’s no signal on the road…

But we found our way back home in the end, phew~

And… I’m glad to have these two as my company to the snow!🤍❄️☃️

We were saying we’re gonna throw each other into the snow but we’re all so busy skiing and didn’t do that, bummer!

Lessons learnt in this trip:

1. Don’t be afraid to take the first step, because all it takes is the first step.

2. If you fall, you fall. But remember you can always get back up stronger and improve yourself for the better.

3. It ain’t easy to get back up from a fall, but several tries help.

4. You’ll get tired of trying sometimes, but no one says you can’t take a rest. All you need is a little bit more time, and once you’ve recharged yourself, you can get back up and do better!

5. Nothing is easy. But hey, once you succeeded in it, you’ll get the sense of achievement. Everything will fall into place and you’ll get what you deserved.

6. Just enjoy the process and go with the flow!

These are all learnt from skiing, but then I realised, it applies to everyday life too!
